  1. Tex-Edit Plus requires System 7.0 or better.

  3. To use the speech facility, you need to install the PlainTalk text-to-speech software.  The old MacinTalk no longer works.  PlainTalk is available from Apple‚Äôs FTP site.

  5. To use the Drag & Drop functions, you will need to use System 7.5 (or place the Macintosh Drag and Drop extension in the Extensions folder).
